Steele & Associates was founded in 1979 by Jim Steele. At the time, he and his associates saw the need in Idaho for a communications firm that could deliver full-service, integrated marketing solutions at a level of sophistication required by regional and national companies.

From the beginning, S&A demanded excellence in its work, an ethic that led to the agency's rapid growth. S&A is the oldest agency with continuous service in Southeast Idaho.
